My wife Ashley and I are the fifth generation to ranch. We are a true horseback ranch, with most of the cattle being gathered with the use of horses. Our cattle are in large desert pastures, with 60-100 acres per cow. The cow herd consists of commercial Angus genetics.
Like most Arizona cattle ranches, the ranch utilizes public land. The vast majority of the cattle operation consists of Bureau of Land Management grazing allotments. I enjoy sharing the unique story of western ranching, and explaining how it differs from eastern cattle farming.
I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2013 with a BS in Agribusiness Economics and Management
